A pivotal moment for Philip in his career was when he realized most owners in the business were not client focused. He left educating and opened up Philip Salon in Wilton, CT in 2001, relocating two doors down in 2017 as Philip Salon & Spa, now with a full service spa and treatment center.
Philip prides himself on the ability to create a custom color for his clients with a designed, tailored cut. Philip loves designing and creating new looks for his clients, keeping them fresh and updated.
Philip DiMarino, of Philip Salon & Spa, is not only a business owner but a dedicated underground, hair guru, making him an asset to the Fairfield County beauty industry.
He is the second generation in his family to be in the industry and after high school, he went on to continue the legacy of creative talent. Philip has trained with the best of the best, including Vidal Sassoon, Jacques Dessange, Redken, Wella, L'Oreal and Vermesse. He was also a cutting educator for Redken 5th Avenue in Manhattan.

Philip Salon and Spa is a sophisticated getaway with a Manhattan vibe in a natural, relaxing setting. Incorporating more than 20 years of owner, Philip Dimarino’s experience addressing client needs, the custom designed space includes features clients appreciate. Expansive windows prove plenty of natural light and a view of the river whether from the massaging chairs or the fireside drink bar, where clients enjoy cappuccino, wine or herbal tea between treatments. Small touches like handbag hooks at each station and unique music add to the experience.
Clients will still find the friendly, experienced and talented stylists and staff for which Philip Salon and Spa is known for. Philip’s and the staff’s goal is to provide a personal and enjoyable experience for every client.
